Hello! :)
I have a question. Is there anyway to keep the face and the body ( I use cc sliders) of a sim,
but to get rid of all the special outfits? I don’t mind losing skills and other stuff and am ready to start a new save.
I can’t find the option to do so in MC “remove outfits” anymore, but I want to reset my sim completely
because her special outfits went crazy after years of playing. Thanks.

Not quite sure I understand what you're saying.... its late and I should be in bed LOL. Do you want to remove outfits from a sim but the option in MC "remove outfits" isn't showing up? or does the option show up, but the outfits you want to remove are not in the list of outfits to remove? Can you take the sim into Stylist and remove the unwanted outfits.

Hi. Thank you for the reply.
I’m wondering if there’s any possible way to remake a sim ( same face, same body ) without all the “special outfits” such as diving outfits, pie eating contest outfits etc….
I can fix them in CAS but It would be great if I could just remove them all to start a new save. :p
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again. :)

The only thing I can think of is to clear the sim of outfits in CAS then save the sim to the CAS bin, then the sim would always be available. Not in game at the moment. Sorry I can't be more help.

Someone else may be able to offer you a better solution, but the only way I can think of is to:
  1. Buy the Clone Voucher LTR for the Sim you wan to "clean".
  2. Age the clone up to the original Sim's age. (Use birthday cakes or MC's Trigger Age Transition, don't just change the age in CAS.)
  3. Use MC to Transfer Clothing from the original Sim to the Clone. That lets you select which outfits to transfer, so shouldn't include the special / hidden ones.
  4. Use MC to adjust the clone Sim's traits to match the original.
  5. (Optional, but highly recommended) Follow littlelambsy's advice and save a copy to the bin.
I've also used this process to get copies of Sims without Graduation and/or Social Group traits.

Just an idle thought I had reading Tropical Insomniac's post: I wonder if using the Clone Drone elixir from Supernatural would work? I haven't used that elixir in a long time and don't recall if it would copy over special outfits to the sim-clone. I do recall that the clone won't be automatically added to the household; you'd have to quickly invite the sim to move in or use MC's Add Sim command.

@littlelambsy That’s exactly what I wanna do but I can’t get rid of all of them. The game wouldn’t let me delete the last one? Or is there anyway to delete them all?
Thank you for your help!
@Tropical Insomniac It worked!!! I totally forgot about this LTR! It takes time to set up all the outfits and makeup tbh, but this one is a safe way to remake a sim! Thank youuuu!!!
@TreyNutz Thank you for the reply! Sadly Clone Drone copies over all the special outfits :(

I know you're probably not doing this, but I have to mention it because I did it LOL. I tried to delete an outfit the sim was wearing at the time. So make sure the sim is in something other than the one you want to delete. Other than that, I can't think of how you can delete them. Can you save the sim to the CAS bin they way they are, then in CAS select that sim and redress him/her. That may remove the outfits. The only problem with this method is I think it would create a new sim.

the Remove Outfit is in Master Controller. Click on Sim > NRaas > Master Controller > Basic > Remove Outfit

I remove my sims outfits this way all the time.

You can't remove outfits in the "Special" category that way, like the scuba diving gear or child costumes from the costume chest, which is the topic under discussion.

@fried_ice_cream: thanks for reporting your results, and sorry that didn't work out. Aside from saving the sim to the sim bin in CAS and recreating the sim, I can't think of how else to remove them. Well, you can also clone a sim with the science station, but the clone voucher seems like it would be faster.
