Can't get rid of Pet Adoption Tag

I have Stop Pet Adoption set to true, but the tag keeps popping up at random lots...all of which were previously played. If I click on a lot with the tag, it shows the sims inside but the option to switch is gone (and the sims are surrounded by animals in the thumbnail). I have the most current version of Overwatch, not sure what other settings I need to use to stop the tagging.

Hello Madiris and welcome to NRaas.
As you probably already know the Pet Adoption function is broken. Try this in Overwatch: Click on the active Sim>NRaas>Overwatch>Settings>Stop Pet Adoption. That should end existing adoption occurrences and prevent further adoption tags from popping up.

I should have added the default for that is False. By clicking on Stop Pet Adoption you will be changing the setting to True.

@brappl, the OP first posted this on the TS3 official forums and I believe the first sentence is referring to the OW setting. I don't have much experience with Pets or with that OW setting. I'll have to try it out in my own game to see what happens.

To clarify, the first sentence IS referring to Overwatch; I already have it set to true, but the tag is still showing up.

@Madiris - Did you have it set to True prior to posting here? If you just now reset the setting try quitting and reloading.

Hi there. The difference many of us will see is that we are using NRaas SP, which also shuts down the entire Neighborhood Pet Adoption scenario with no options given. That's how broken Twallan (and Chain, our current developer) regards it. Problem is that the OP is not using NRaas SP, just Overwatch and reportedly the setting is not "sticking" or isn't destroying the scenario fast enough to be effective for them.

Thanks igazor. It might just need to run its cycle and then disappear or perhaps try a MC Town or Lot reset??

@brappl yes I did have it set to True prior to posting. Upon opening the game the tag is gone, next time I see it I will try Reset Lot.

I'm going to guess here, unless our developer pops in says otherwise, that it's Overwatch's initial cleanup run that is successfully killing off the scenario. I know we can temporarily reschedule the overnight 3am sim time (or 5am for urban worlds) run to happen almost immediately, not sure about the startup run, but either one might do it. If MC Resetting the lot doesn't help next time, this might be worth a try.

NRaas > OW > Settings > Set Alarm Hour > (set it for the top of the next hour temporarily, then back to what it was before when finished)
