Hello all.

The title pretty much explains the issue, I've been trying to edit careers in town hall via master controller, and sometimes it doesn't appear to work with editing jobs for my normal sims either(although I connect that to a quit career being in the history, why that causes an issue I don't know).

Hi there. Joyce Boyle appears to be in your world as a Tourist, her homeworld is showing as "-256413018". Not sure what the deal is with Tom Shallow, his homeworld is showing as Riverview but the ID number of his home lot is 0, which I'm not sure is valid.

Is/was active gameplay in Riverview at the time these errors were thrown? MC can't really arrange for job promotions for sims who do not live in the actively simulated world.

I don't quite understand what this means. If you mean was I playing on Riverview at the time of these errors, the answer is yes.

We should wait then for our developer to see this thread and comment on the errors being thrown. But the first sim, Joyce, is not actually a resident of Riverview.

The Sims you're trying to adjust don't appear to be in the world at the time so it's breaking. Anything career related needs to be done on Sims that live in the world and aren't hibernating. If you click on a Sim in the world and try to adjust their career, does it work?
