I already had issues with trying to try for baby with my cats. I got all the mods I have found that should help, but when they would try for baby one cat would go into the pet house, while the other one would leave and do something else. I decided to ignore this and pollinate the cat instead. After my cat, Mistsnow gave birth, I wanted her kittens to look like there father and mother. I played with genetics, and after finding the pattern I liked, I pressed check. Instead of the cat having the new pattern, it disappeared. It was still there, but invisible. I tried reseting the sim but the cat still wouldn't load. I can add additional information if needed. How can I stop the cat from disappearing and get the cat a new genetically made coat?

Hi there. I don't have much experience with cat genetics in general, but I do have to ask if there is any pet related CC, meaning CAS parts, skins, custom sliders, in play that might be getting in the way of things here.
