When I go to the section to force opportunities, it provides different categories based on the sim I'm clicking on. I'm trying to force career opportunities on my Investigator sim, but she doesn't have any career-based opportunity options. I've read something about it only listing opportunities the sims fits the prerequisites for; what could I do to fix this problem?

Have you tried Shift+Clicking on the workplace rabbit hole (is it the Police Station for the Private Investigator Career? I can't remember...) and select Force Opportunities? That usually forces career-related opportunities but I don't know if that does work for the active careers.
