What does the Partner Pollinate do under Master Controller? I can't find a reference for it. I found 5 listings for partner but not what I was trying to figure out.

Thank You

Cheers,
Bowlady

It impregnates the sim upon which it is run by way of their partner.

I find it really useful if no-one seems to be having babies. I just select the young adult female age group and run it on most of the sims to get a bit of a baby boom.

I use pollinate to get older unmarried women pregnant from a donor if they've not been able to get married and are getting on in age and want a child before they're too old for having a baby.I will check to see if anybody's ready for babies if nobody's getting pregnant or if they're all too young and too poor which means they'll be focusing on building money up instead of starting babies if they're all broke.

GVaz -- There could be a number of reasons why that one specific sim cannot currently be impregnated. Some examples are:

-- they are already pregnant
-- they are approaching a birthday (sims cannot age up while pregnant and cannot usually become pregnant when a birthday is coming up very soon)
-- they are an occult undergoing some kind of transition
-- they don't have a partner, but there is a regular Pollinate command in addition to the Partner Pollinate one if this is the case
-- they just had a baby and are thus in a pregnancy cooling off period
-- they are dying (although I think you would know if that were the case)

By the way, please feel free to start new threads when you have a question rather than tacking it onto one from this many years ago. We don't have any restrictions about new threads for new members here. :)

Thanks a lot for your answer! Ok, next time I'll start a new thread! She is an elder woman, but has a partner! Maybe she's on that cooling off period, she was pregnant but started on a loop when giving birth, wouldn't go to the hospital or do nothing, and after research I managed to cancel the giving birth moodlet. She stopped looping, and now she doesn't appear to be pregnant, but the pollinate option disappeared!
