Problem with No Fridge Shopping?

Not sure if this is just a feature of the mod I may not be aware of but whenever I have this mod installed, it seems that sims will no longer autonomously eat. Also, clicking on the hunger moodlet doesn't push them to grab anything to eat either. I've googled and searched and can't find anything on this topic.

I have the No Fridge Shopping mod but my sims still autonomously eat or start cooking when hungry. In fact the popup to ask permission to buy ingredients sometimes warns me one of my sims is unexpectedly hungry.

xneon - I no longer use this mod in favor of icarus' Cook With Any Ingredient mod that includes much of the same functionality and there had been issues with using both mods at the same time. But when I did have it, that hadn't been my experience with the mod either. Do you have the most recent version, the one available from our site here, rather than one of the older ones from Ani at MTS? Have you tried clearing (deleting) the scriptCache.packge file from the top level of the TS3 user game folder in Documents if you do not already do this routinely?

Perhaps you might also try a test run with all mods removed except for NRaas and the Fridge mod, assuming you have any from other sources, and the scriptCache cleared again to see if something else is getting in the way.

I've never received any kind of pop up with no fridge shopping...maybe you are using the cook with any ingredient as well

Yes, the version I had downloaded was indeed from this site. Maybe it is conflicting with one of my other icarus mods, perhaps the one that has to do with serving meals or putting away leftovers? Not sure. I'm actually just gonna go with the Cook With Any Ingredient mod because it looks great.

You're right, I am. My bad, I've had both mods for so long I lost track of what each of them does. Maybe I should go with just one as well, less chance of conflicts.

This may be broken. The code is funky and hard to follow from a glance. Do they actually have ingredients in their inventory for any meals though?

Sorry, late response to this but yes they did have the ingredients for the meals they were wanting to prepare. I could manually select meals for them but they were unable to do it autonomously. I ended up switching to cook with any ingredient instead.

The one you ended up with instead is a great mod, isn't it? Takes a few more clicks to prepare anything, but I've had that mod in play for years and never get tired of it. My vegetarian sims, as most of them are even if they don't have the trait, can make tofu based pet food (the animals they are feeding don't seem to care), my evil sims who have enough cooking skill to not burn the kitchen down like to hand out "chocolate chip" cookies made with onions and garlic, the possibilities are endless. :)
