Tempest is Cancelling Holidays

So, a few nights ago I downloaded and installed Tempest because I was told it fixed the bug where sprinklers didn't water plants on ITF grass rugs... and it did fix that bug, but along with it, I started getting a new bug. Specifically, when the time hits midnight, that red circle on the calendar under the "Career" tab that specifies holidays just disappears, and if I wait until the day it's supposed to be on, nothing will happen. No notification telling me about a holiday, no day off work, no special holiday-related events, nothing.

I know this is because of Tempest because it is the only mod I have installed. If you need to know what DLC I have, it's all 11 of the expansion packs that add new mechanics to the game (basically everything available from Steam that doesn't have the word "Stuff" in the name).

Anyways, I'm here looking for a fix, and I was hoping one of the other mods here might do that, but I wouldn't know what to look for.

This is not typical behavior of the mod. But there are two somewhat reasonable explanations for what you are seeing that come to mind.

-- You have deactivated the holiday(s) in question. This probably isn't it since the change came to you as a surprise, but worth checking anyway. On City Hall, NRaas > Tempest > Holidays > (Season) > (Holiday) should indicate the day within the current season that the holiday should fall. Examples, 6 the 6th day of the season. -1 would be one day before the end of the season, 0 would mean that holiday is canceled.

-- You have changed your season lengths suddenly or have introduced Tempest at a time where the day for now mod scheduled holiday has already come and gone. But if this is the case, then things should sort themselves out on the next season. Possible or does the problem persist into more than one season as you play forward?

I'm fairly certain it's not this as I didn't even touch those settings until I noticed the holidays getting cancelled.

This could be more plausible. I had actually reduced the season lengths prior to installation in order to make holidays more frequent. That said, I'd already checked the days they were set to occur on with Tempest, and it was set to -2 for each holiday. That said, I'll run the game for a bit longer and see if the problem corrects itself over time.

Well, I kept playing the game for a while, and it's very clearly continuing to cancel holidays, so I'm still in need of a fix.

How many days do your Seasons have?

I have had the same happen to me. I fixed it by adding an extra holiday on another day, basically making the default holiday absolete.
You make new holidays in cityhall > tempest > holidays > fall > add new entry. You can then set on which day from the end of the season you want your new holiday to take place. Repeat for every season. I have mine on both 7 and 8 of each season as I always play a 14 days season.

I'll give that a try, then.

That's probably too short.  Try lengthening them.  I think, from helping someone else with this issue, that holidays cannot be on the last day of the season or maybe it was the 2nd to last day.  By default they occur on...Thursday with a 7 day season?  Maybe try a 4 days season and set the holiday to occur on the 2nd day.

Ah yeah I tried that before and always had the Holidays get canceled. It's because the seasons are in a constant state of transtition and the Holidays can't happen during the seasonal transtition.
