Is it possible to save any changes I made to the travel world with traveler?

The only mod stopping your Sims from traveling to the abyss. Did you end up there anyway? We'll try to help.

It worked, I tried what you suggested, I went to an EA world, plopped down a few things, met a few locals, then went home, went back and everything was there.Tried it with the cruisehip as well and it worked. Thanks!

When you did this, which package were you looking at?

Is it the one that I circled or the blue simspack? If your looking at the "Cruise Ship.package" That's actually a mod that goes into your mod folder, it makes it so the ship feels like its moving.

7Zip has a file integrity check something WinZip doesn't have it doesn't cause issues it lets you know if something is wrong the file you're trying to unzip and WinZip can break sims3packs.
And I do know what a sims3pack is I've played the game since 2009 and a CAW user since I could tell something was wrong with the internal header.
Deplhy's Multi-Extractor also refused to extract the world until I renamed it. As I said the internal header was messed up most likely causing the problem you had getting the changes you wanted to make stick structurally the world is fine but that messed header will cause small issues, don't know what other issues it can cause as I won't use a world that has a messed up header.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to come off as snippy or applying you didn't know what you were talking about.:( Just wanted to make sure we both were using the same files.7zip is just annoying for me, my computer wants to use it to open everything up even things that don't need upzipping.

I was trying to save Sunlit Tides, I just used the ship as an example.
But I managed to get my towns to stick by chatting up a few locals and heading back home
and then back again like Igazor suggested.

Only issue I have now is with certain towns, when my sim arrives they're no where to be found.
Its asking me to select a household or edit town.

I'm not familiar with CAW or headers. And honestly, don't know how to check before installing a world.
I'm not very technical.Forgive me for all the questions, but what kind of issues can it cause with a bad header? How do I check
before installing a world?

But I am sorry if my post came off as rude or implying you didn't know what you were doing.I reread it and it certainly came off that way, and that wasn't my intention at all.:/ I'm not good at explaining things.

So to summarize, to an EA world and back works as expected. And to the cruise ship world and back works as expected, correct? Then it would seem that it's the essentially developed by accident 3-point travel system you were using that is raising the problem, or at least that would seem so with this cruise ship world as the intermediary one.

Yeah. But I wasn't using the 3 point travel system yet, when it was happening, cause I wasn't sure how to do it lol.
The only issue left is certain worlds my sims don't seem to "arrive" the world will load, but my household is no where to be found and I'm in "edit" town mode instead of choosing a lot.

If you weren't doing 3-point travel (yet), then was the cruise ship world the original homeworld of your sims? I mean, how did it fit into the picture at all before doing the suggested tests that worked out well? Perhaps I am still not understanding the exact combination of worlds where the travel mechanism was failing in that changes were not sticking.

On the arrival failures, are you certain there is a place in the destination, doesn't have to be a Base Camp at all, for your arriving sims to stay? I always make sure there is at least an uninhabited 10x10 available even though I don't really want my sims to "stay" on a vacant lot for real to avoid the arrival failures where all of the other lots might be taken up by residents. Are Overwatch and ErrorTrap in play and are they (especially ErrorTrap) kicking up any error logs?

It's okay no need to apologize, my girlfriend is very sick and was up all night with her and hadn't had much sleep or had any coffee on top of also being the Mayor of the small town I live in so I was pretty grumpy. So I'm sorry if I came off harsh :( I didn't mean too.

I don't know way your computer would do that with 7Zip that doesn't sound right.
You can also check with Delphy's Multi-Extractor http://www.modthesims.info/d/364038/del ... -2009.html it'll throw an error if something is wrong with the header. You can even find corrupted or broken sims3packs if an extracted sims3pack has empty package files once extracted.

As for the issues a bad header can cause I'm not totally sure as I've even thrown out worlds that I made and spent months making that had that problem. But most issues are small and vary from user to user. Longer than usual loading times and saving times is the most common. It could make the world less travel friendly. The game tends to be very finicky when things are not like they should be.

My sims live in Morreux(louisana world) They got married.I sent them to the cruise ship world to use it as "transportation" to their honeymoon destination, which was Sun lit tides." I edited the cruise ship with a base camp and some rooms, and was hoping they would stick so when my sims returned back to it after their honeymoon, it would all be ready for them.

Cruise ship was just an example.I should have used other worlds as an example.
For example I send my sim traveling quite often, and sent her to bridge port.I added showtime venues there.
And when she returned the second time around, the venues were no longer there.

None of my worlds have base camps, but they all have residential lots which I usually can choose from.
Overwatch and Errortrap are in play, I haven't noticed any errors.I'll get into the world and instead of my sims being in the corner waiting to be placed down, I'm in Edit town mode and my sims are no where, forcing me to exit and quit(thank god I keep backup saves lol)

The cruise ship example is 3-point travel. So I take it this was also happening with more typical 2-point travel and no cruise ships involved as well? If so, I would have to say that the potential "culprit" would then be the Morreux world if everything works as intended with EA-only worlds on both ends as in your more recent tests.
