Againg system

Post by kkaizer » March 30th, 2018, 12:38 pm

I just a quick question about the againg system. So let’s say my homeworld is town A and I have town B as a traveler world. If i set ageless foreign sims to true for Town B and town B don’t progress at all while I play town A?
Also with this setting, sims’ age in town B will still be the same if I visit town B after like 100 sim days? Or will the game make them 100-sim-day older?

No sims in worlds foreign to the one being played actively ever progress, foreign worlds are held in suspended animation while active play is elsewhere. Traveler can make it seem like some small forms of progression have taken place by kind of "catching up" a bit the locals in the destination world on SP types of progression upon arrival. The setting that should be gating that is Traveler > Perform Travel Actions > (T/F, is True by default).

Whether their total ages are incremented one sim day each night at midnight or not is where Ageless Foreign comes in. In World A with Ageless Foreign set to True for World B, there should be no shifts forward in total ages in World B no matter how may sims days have passed. If Ageless Foreign is set to False for World B and the game is played for 100 sim days in World A not in vacation mode, then all sims in World B should have their total ages incremented by 100 sim days upon arrival there.
