Can't choose anywhere to stay when traveling to the future

Post by koichi8998 » July 11th, 2017, 2:31 pm

I've attempted to travel to the future using both the Time Machine from Ambitions and the Time Portal from Into the Future, but both times it shows the "choose where to stay this term" screen but doesn't let me actually choose anywhere to stay. i'm not sure if the errorlogs i posted are relevant, since the functionality is working, it's just not working right for me for whatever reason. i can also provide the relevant save, but i'd have to upload it elsewhere as it's over a gigabyte in size.

Hi there. I see that you are using one of the beta testing versions of Traveler, v87. Unfortunately we can't see from the script logs if you have the most recently updated one, that would be 87f released late last week, or one of the prior betas. Can you confirm that you have 87f or give things another try with the latest beta version if not?

Also, please confirm that you have or should have a Community Living Center in Oasis. That's where your sim is supposed to stay by default if there aren't any other viable options, unless for some reason you have removed the Living Center by editing the map prior to travel or on a prior trip.

And, this might not have much to do with the current arrival error at hand (will leave that for our developer to determine), but I strongly suggest you find a way to do without SimsMX's Hospital Overhaul mod. It was designed on Patch 1.55 but its developer dropped out before the patches were finished and is known to break games on current path levels (anything over 1.57). It is especially not playing well with Traveler, any version.

@igazor: Hello, I'm not 100% sure which version it was, so i'll try 87f and see if that fixes anything
The Community Living Center is visable on the map, so it's definitely there.
I'll also try removing the Hospital Overhaul mod, which i've pretty much never used it anyway. thank you for the suggestions, i'll report back with my results once i get a chance try them.

You could benefit from Register as your role manager is busted. The traveler error is weird but could indicate why it's not automatically putting them in the lot. It looks like the process breaks before the travel begins. I'd start trimming your mods back and see if it works, starting with the overhaul.

I've removed all of my non-NRaas mods with the exception of the no intro mod i was using to speed up testing, and it works now, so there must've been some mod other than the Hospital Overhaul that was breaking it, since it still didn't work after i removed just the Hospital Overhaul. i'll make sure to post here when i figure out the problem mod, since that could be useful info. i'm also going try Register, since there are no doubt other problems it'll fix. thank you both for your help.
