A few more things to add here. First, I don't want others avoiding trying to help Mac players entirely, once we get beyond the quirks of the Mac version and its built-in limitation we are all still really playing the same game and the mods should work (or not work) the same either way up to the capacity of the system being played upon.

Second, it seems much of what I posted recently above was unnecessary because the newest questions were on behalf of a different player who is not on a Mac. That was indeed confusing. If we could, let's please try to be more clear when new issues come up as to which and whose system we are working on.

And finally, @carateka, for your friend there is a brand new fresh off the presses issue with travel generally with and without the Traveler mod and it relates to a very recent Windows security update. It's not hit me at all that I know of, but am trying to find out which update it is for other Win 7/8 players to see if it can be avoided or rolled back for now. Win 10 players don't get much choice in these matters because of forced automatic updating, but it seems that disallowing UAC (instructions below) is fixing the issue for many. You might suggest that to your friend and perhaps they can resume playing the way they wanted to again. There may be more to it than this, but for now this is all the info we have.
