I sent a sim in my current family to Barnacle Bay as a vacation. She met a sim there that she became romantic with. I wanted them to go back to MH for a marriage, and eventually will return to BB or some other town to live. I did not have any options for him to travel home with her even though I have it set for RI to travel. I read the travel faq's and thought ok, I can add him once she is home. He doesn't even show in her panel anymore. It does show she is pregnant in status (OMG Risky woohoo setting has got to go...lol) and no father listed anymore.
I do have plenty of 'save as' so I can go back as needed. She is still standing on the edge of town while I dither about what to do. Any help is appreciated.
Travel help please

Ah, yes. Go back to a save from BB. You can't ask the dad to be to return travel with your sim, but you can add him to your household either though social interactions or by using MC > Add Sim on him. Then when you return home, the full sim should come back home with you.
When you are in a homeworld, foreign sims who are summoned will arrive as scaled down data representations of themselves, not as the full sim. A helping of mods (Overwatch, ErrorTrap, Traveler, RelationshipPanel) will cut through some of this if you are trying to make the arriving sim a resident of the homeworld, but those don't do any good if you can't even reach him for some still unknown reason -- like maybe he was really a homeless NPC back in BB rather than a full resident?

Thanks very much. I don't want her to be a single Mom without her gorgeous new beau! Headed back there now. I will add him to her household and hopefully all will be well when they arrive back in MH. He should have been a full resident. I added him and two others from my library to a lot that a friend built. The three sims were sims that a friend made as well. I wanted to see which she seemed to spark with the most. Rafe won.

Didn't think to ask that, sorry, and I had forgotten that BB was one of the four EA worlds affected by this issue back on the prior versions of Traveler. So yes to the updates, and those should prevent the foreign sims from disappearing from the relationship panel and foreign world filters. Either way though, you would probably have to go back to a BB save to replay.
ok...I did get her back to BB and had not tried to travel yet. I got distracted by calls from work and I'm not supposed to be working today! I will save, shut down and update and then see what happens when I reload and get her back there. I have not played BB in forever but kinda had a pirate thing going so decided to visit and maybe have someone move there. Thanks!
