Vector diseases

Hello

Can we have more diseases for vector mod, specially STDs.
Is it possible to be customized by user?

Hi there. I do not believe there are currently any plans in place to create additional Vector diseases. It was originally envisioned that players would indeed create their own over time. I am sure many have done so, but they don't seem to have taken off in popularity for sharing like custom careers have. As with custom careers, it is a reasonably complex process.

We do have a series of tutorials on the topic, but I don't think they successfully made it to this, our new site yet. They can be accessed as they were a year ago through the Wayback Machine.

I didn't actually remember that one, but so is SIV. I imagine the OP might have been looking for something woohoo transmittable but that is curable (as SIV is not) and a bit less dramatically lethal than lending itself to sims spontaneously combusting.

If there are any creative module developers out there though, I wouldn't mind seeing something non-lethal transmitted by way of vending machines. I mean, I've always regarded death by having them fall on sims the EA way to be ridiculous and have that tuned out in my game, but have you ever seen anyone come along and actually clean those things? They can't be anywhere near sanitary after years of use. And buffet tables at venues that are open 24/7? You must be joking, I'm not touching the food served up on those.

Vector is made so that you can easily add diseases with just XML Modding, which is very easy to learn. So yes it is customizable.

If it was tied to the Nougat something moodlet instead of using the object vending machine that would be very easy to do actually^^

I am currently working on more Vector diseases. Diseases that can be treated with special food moodlets specifically, so that my doctor has something to do. However real life is busy so all my projects are veeeeeery slow.

Candy bars can also be created by way of the store set Canning Station with cocoa as an ingredient. Seems like the same affliction would then potentially affect consumers of homemade candy bars, no?

Oh, you might be right. Was just assuming that nougat is nougat, but no one knows what nougat really is anyway...one of life's huge mysteries.
