Buying Vacation Homes in Custom Worlds

Apologies if this has been asked before. I did a search of the forum and couldn't find anything on it. My sims visited Simtorini! They love it so much, they want to buy a vacation home, but they can't. They need visa level 3, it seems. I tried using Traveler to stop treating their trip as a vacation and purchasing an additional home. It... sorta worked? Like, they own the house, but when I resumed treating their trip as a vacation, they resumed staying at the base camp. I tried using Debug Enabler to raise their visa levels to 3, but it didn't work. I couldn't find the world in the list. I selected "User Created", made their visa levels 3, but they still can't buy the house. How can they buy a vacation home in a user created vacation world?

The Traveler mod is supposed to quietly grant Level 3 visas to all sims who visit custom vacation worlds. It's only the three WA worlds that have the visa requirement. The missing ingredient that's easy to overlook is that the residential lot you want them to purchase needs to be of lot type Residential-(Player) Ownable as viewed in Edit Town.

Odd that you can purchase it by way of Treat as Vacation > False though. I don't think the game would see that as a vacation home, as you reported.

Hm. I'd thought it was an ownable lot, but when I checked, it was a private lot. No idea what that is. I changed it to ownable lot, so I guess they can own it now. Thanks!
