So I recently decided to send my sims living in RFLong's My Bridgeport on vacation to Jericho. It didn't work. Instead of arriving there, the world opened in Edit Town with the option to "return to game setup". I quit without saving, sent them to Hidden Springs instead, and I had no issues.
I'd since sent them to other Store worlds and had no issues, so I figured that the problem was just Jericho. But today I decided to send my sim living in BluebellFlora's iWorld to iamsimming's Brightpoint, and it happened again. Is this just a weird glitch that happens with sims who live in CC worlds traveling to other CC worlds?
I checked using Dashboard; I don't have any conflicts between Traveler and anything else.
When traveling to CC worlds, it goes to game setup?
The creators probably haven't given those Custom Worlds a unique world reference (ID), which giving Traveler problems of connecting the both worlds together. It's like moving from Point A to Point B, but in both cases Point B isn't recognized as a destination and jumps over to the setup menu as if you've made a new game, cause it lost all references from your Homeworld.
There are a lot of Custom Worlds out there and some just don't see the importance of giving their World and unique ID. Nothing we can do about, travel to a Store World and you don't have this problem, right?
