Why sims shouldn't skip class!

My sim is in university and skipped her last class to go dumpster diving. Just as she finished and was walking away, this happened. LOL

For her extra credit project to make up for the missed class, I would like her to write up a scientific account of exactly what happened that afternoon, tailored to the subject matter that the class was intended to cover (hope it wasn't culinary arts).  :D

LOL, no she's in the Fine Arts program working on becoming a vocal legend. She was in the dumpster moments before the meteor hit and took out both dumpsters. She would have been toast for sure if it had happened a few seconds earlier. Her sister was in class where she should  have been.

Come on, if it's rare meteorites, it's a great chance to get rich. She's lucky. In my entire life (I mean in The sims), a meteorite has fallen two or three times. By the way, this death is so rare. And black ghosts with orange fringing seem pretty beautiful to me.

This meteor would have killed her for sure, it hit and completely demolished the dumpster she was in seconds before it hit.  She's having a few problems at uni. The night after the meteor hit, she was at a party and got abducted, then, when she got home from that, a burglar broke into the dorm and she had to fight her while the policeman stood by and chatted up a blonde in a short nighty LOL.  She missed her first class that day by sleeping in.  I don't know if her traits are a problem but she's a Virtuoso, Brave, Diva, Commitment issues, Irresistible and  a Party Animal. Within 30 mins of arriving at the dorm she made enemies and had a fight with one of the roommates. The interesting thing is, I don't direct her to any of these behaviours, she just gets into trouble all by herself LOL

Btw, she made a killing on those meteors, the big one was worth more than 3500!

I had a funny story like that. Once in the middle of the working week my wards decided to unwind and at the end of the day gathered for fishing. There were tents, guitars, campfires and mosquitoes, I guess. All as it should be. At first everything went well: they fished, communicated. Suddenly sounds disturbing music, and then comes the announcement: "Dwayne doesn't understand why it got so dark?" The character was automatically set to look at the meteorite. It took a couple seconds and then "KABOOM!" A giant meteorite fell on my sim and crushed him to death. But these are the little things of life. Meteorites, burglars, aliens, zombies - it's nothing compared to bugs and errors.

Diva shares some of the same qualities as Mean spirited and Hot headed

I can put up with things like burglars, aliens, and zombies (to an extent) because to me they help represent the total range of annoyances, inconveniences, and setbacks that real life presents us. But the meteor scenario reminds me too much of the one in the older SimCity series optional disasters where you spend real time weeks or longer getting a city to look and run just the way you want it to only to have Godzilla stop by and stomp all over it. Thanks, but no.

I've only had one meteor fall on a populated lot in all the years I've played this game, and that was one too many. On the day in question, I merely reverted to a prior save and emulated a famous movie called Clue (or Cluedo in some countries) that actually has three very different endings. "Hmm. Or...maybe it happened this way!"  :)

Speaking of Uni, I had the same attitude towards deaths by vending machine and Murphy beds until I tuned out their respective happenings. I just don't know of anyone who dies these ways in real life.

Of course, it can be kind of difficult to "unsee" that which has already been seen even when we do choose to replay things another way.

sittingbear...She's certainly got something, she's always slapping sims.

Sara_Darkees... those bugs are aweful, I'd rather deal with meteors LOL

igazor... LOL, " only to have Godzilla stop by and stomp all over it. "  That would bug me to peices. I've seen a few meteors. In one game, my sim got married online and when she arrived she was like Godzilla ( Eunice Pertridge from Hidden Springs).  While he was trying to figure out how to leave her, she got flattened by a meteor while going to get food for her workmates (film career).
