It might be a pita if already built as you would have to delete everything above the stilts to rebuild the foundations, 90% of the house I imagine :(

Worth trying sittingbear's suggest if starting from scratch, though

You can also use the same method for brick foundations. I build my stilt and brick foundations this way all the time and on all types of terrain. A couple of houses in the Twinbrook swamps are good examples that it works it just took me a little bit to figure out how to do it. :P
I never liked using the brick foundations as stilts, they always seemed too "thick" looking, so I liked when they introduced the stilted foundations but they are so wonky :(  but I do agree utilizing less stilts would probably help. I'm going to give that a try next time.
Cororon, please let me know if you try it before I do and if it makes a difference. Thanks!

But it helps for building a nice car port off the side of the house that has a brick foundation without it looking out of place.
