Your first (or your 1000th if you work here) look at our new home designed by yours truly. Yes, we will have a forum. Yes you can edit your posts. Rejoice in the streets. More info heading your way in the coming weeks as I finalize plans.
Just wanted to reiterate after numerous Facebook messages that we will be remaining here until the September 30th closure. There is no need to panic or for us to move at this time. Certain elements will be moved prior to that date however mod support will be provided here until the closure.
Soon I will be converting our wiki pages to our new site and I ask that you minimize edits, starting next week, until I complete this process. I can't guarantee anything you edit will be retained.
That's all for now.

@Sarien18 - We've always been able to post pictures here, as Chain just did. But the pic files have to be hosted elsewhere online due to forum capacity -- Mediafire, imgur, etc., let's forget about photobucket since they turned all strange on everyone with free accounts. The sequence of wikitext codes one must then use is not entirely obvious to many and we don't get a preview or a chance to fix up what we've posted here.
Example of code with the required double square brackets: [[image:http://www.somewebsite.com/photoname.jpg]]
I expect it will be the same on the new site on the capacity issue, except with a much more user-friendly way to enter/paste those links to externally hosted pic files. And of course (to be discussed later with respect to the new site) same as here we would want what is being shared to be at least somewhat relevant to NRaas mods in order to stay on-topic. Can't promise anything, but maybe in time if there is demand for it a sub-board devoted to "Show Us Pics From Your Game" or something like that could be provided.

Well, that is great news!
I understand the idea of keeping the images relevant to NRaas. I was thinking of NRaas tutorials using screenshots, or showcasing unique ways/things people have done with the Nraas mods.
And I would definitely vote for a "Show Us Pics From Your Game" section - although I know you guys have enough on your plate with the transition, etc. More and more I find Nraas as a safe haven to go regarding Sims 3. The interaction here makes me feel not so alone when playing this game.
Thanks!

Looks great Chain. What framework are you using (Wordpress or something?, or is that still a secret?). Will it be Responsive, in the mobile sense.
What I would say though is I don't think there is any point in having the Mod Updater on the new site any more. Its was useful back in the day when frequent mod updates were coming through and the index was up to date but its days are done now I think.
