Dresser & Role/Service Sims
Hey guys, its me again with a dresser question. Is it possible to somehow exclude role & service sims from dresser validparts changing their clothes to valid ones? Or somehow set them up for each role & service sim? I only want my townies to wear medieval clothes and hair, not my grim reapers, butlers, policeman, etc

You can disable aging for all service Sims, also for role sims, if you use homeless Sims, so they won't change at all.
The valid tuning should be also influence them.
When the they first spawn you can either clothe them in stylist or run Dresser check outfits on Servicesims, but then all are effected, so make sure that
The clothes are valid too.

Dresser & Role/Service Sims
I’m not quite sure that was the answer I was looking for. If I disable aging for homeless sims, will role and service sims get to keep their original clothing? For example the fireman staying in a fireman outfit, the policeman keeping his/her policeman outfit, and most importantly the grim reaper not changing into an elven/medieval peasant outfit?
i’ve read somewhere that there is an option in dresser called ‘protect’ which could make a sim keep their outfits. Its okay if I get to change service sims into valid outfits, however I’m not sure if grim has his own clothes, or thats his body/skin. Could that work?

I have a feeling this is probably already accounted for- is this something you've checked ingame to see if it's actually affecting these sims?
It just sounds like an oversight that would be covered in the documentation already if ValidParts did things like strip special outfits off any sims, given that some of them look very bizarre out of costume (Grim is pitch black and Simbots would be invisible, for example).
I don't think Dresser will reroll outfits for these types of sims, by design.

I havent checked it out yet in game, as I’m that kind of person who prefers doing and asking things beforehand, than after encountering problems. However if dresser doesnt reroll outfits for special sims, I’m all good, will check it out today, havent seen that anywhere in the documentation. Thanks for that!
