Age Settings

Post by Sarah_Sims » January 21st, 2015, 9:35 pm

@Chain: Just wanted to say, I'm loving the new Age in Years options! At last my sims ages actually make sense! Thanks so much Chain! I don't normally use these testing mods (too much of a scaredy cat lol!) but seeing as I'm only playing a testing game right now, thought I would throw it in. Am watching J4Ks comments in the other thread with great interest. Thanks again! :-)

If you have time to look at the age thingy in years. It seems that when a Teen at his final year reaches the end of 17, it grows up to a YoungAdult at the start of the age of 17.

Not sure if its due to my Lifespan setting of 3640 days. Not much of a biggie and probably can wait with the issue on color coding.

^- apart from those things above. I really like what you've done with the performance in Tagger and MC, its way way better than your earlier release when I was testing the new born feature.

Though, still receiving those start up ScriptErrors that are (i think) caused by the academic Education degree, perhaps those can be silenced? Once again, clap.... clap... clap.... bravo ^.^ great job ;-)

I've also noticed the age discrepancy but at the beginning of the age stage. For example, I have the teen years set from 13 to 19 but my sims become teenagers when they reach 12 years of age. Still loving this feature though! Thanks again Chain. :-)

The value used in the calculation comes from EA. If it's off, they did it. I can see about compensating for them though. :)

If that's so, put it on the bottom of your endless list. The way you already done it in tagger is a blessing already to see those years, so many thanks for that. These discrepancies are really just little nicknacks which we surely can overlook.

Nothing to see in here ;-)

I knew this was EA's doing and not yours, Chain. I did try to find a way around it by changing the sims lifespan settings but my brain wouldn't co-operate that day lol! Would be lovely if you can come up with a solution but as J4Ks said, just add it to the bottom of your list. Thank you. :-)

I didn't ask what you two have your year set to. Walk me through your settings regarding this. If I'm reading right, it's showing them 1 year older? younger? than they are?
