Routing Problems

Post by janyses » August 4th, 2015, 10:40 pm

First, I did not set any door locks or filters in GoHere. I use it solely for the other fixes. Here are a few issues that I've noticed with the testing version (have no idea if these existed with older versions,) but many do seem related to the new locking feature:

1. WA tombs/doors can be easily bypassed by clicking "Unlock." No keys necessary.

2. Can no longer "Invite to Luxury Suite" if the target is a child. The child stomps and does the route fail no matter how many times they are invited. Adults still work fine. Did not test teens.

3. Children could not sleep in the top bunk in a bunk bed. This occurred with the Castle bunk bed and they could only relax or nap. If I select "Sleep,", they climb out, go outside and stand next to an outer wall, stomping. Did not test other ages.

I've had these issues for about a week, took out GoHere and they all went away.

@Chain: As you're looking anyway, I'd like to mention, I've noticed a lot of doors around town are stuck in the open position. In both active and inactive's homes. Sims can still walk through them though so it doesn't affect the routing as far as I can tell. Don't think I've seen it on community lots and I'm not entirely sure that it's GoHere causing the issue but I only noticed it happening after I added the testing versions of GoHere & MC to enable the new door locking feature. :-)

I've been seeing a lot of stuck open doors too. It would be nice if doors in WA tombs don't even show the lock/unlock features.
