Hey Chain: Just had another thought I forgot to mention. When my Sim visited the park, the hearts would appear almost constantly over the Sims heads. This is also happening to other groups of Sims on that lot that my Sim is not engaged in. For instance, across the park 4 people are sitting on a picnic blanket and the hearts are happening over all 4 heads during their conversation. When you've got over 20 Sims on a lot....that has got to be graphics taxing.

I'm thinking that if the mechanism that is causing the hearts to appear on everyone could still happen to non-engaged Sims but just not apply the hearts animation that would help with the lag. Just a thought.

@brappl - That's being generated because of the InvalidParts errors and can be ignored.

@Syd - For testing purposes the cool down on that feature was left out. I don't plan to bomb you guys with hearts. :)

Figured as much. Those Invalid Parts errors are on me for screwing around with the game files. Thanks Chain.

Evansdale County: starting nhd 39MG Day 1 (150 Residents not including service/role sims) Game is 12 Sim weeks in play. Dream Catcher & Home Opener is Active.

Threw several large parties on Community Venues - Lots of group conversations on all community lots

End of Day 5 "Save As" nhd file 61MG . I'm not noticing any jumps in RAM usage. Game opens with under 2GB and as time goes on useage is increasing at about the same rate as in the past before Chemistry. I closed out of this game with RAM at 2.7GB

A few of the inactives were attracted to an active sim who had blonde hair
Just about everyone had hearts displayed for the active blond hair sim
Attraction lightning bolt for testing is visible in Relationship Panel
Some sims have a bubble with a shooting star
Lots of pink hearts
I'm not sure what this one is: overhead bubble with 2 little blue figures
Again, not sure if this is relevant but I"m seeing bubbles over some sims heads indicating family orientated - a green figure on knees begging for something Perhaps I just never noticed these before??

Game plays smoothly - no lag - no crashing - no script errors

"You no longer have to talk to Sims to get attraction feedback. They will comment on Sims they find attractive or not attractive as they see them" : love this Chain. Sims all over town on community lots are congregating with lots of attraction indicators.

I'll load up another game that is older than this one. Let me know if I am missing anything you've requested or if you need me to do something different.

This may or may not be useful: I used Save Cleaner and the nhd file was back at its original size.

Looks good brappl, thanks for testing. Anything that's not the hearts is not my doing so you're seeing EA stuff that you never noticed before. I'm curious, if you still have the save, how are the hair color definitions going? Particularly for the blonde.

Neverglade starting nhd file 44MG Available RAM after initial load 1.8GB
Game Week 10.
DAY 4 "Save As" nhd 66MG RAM used before quitting: 2.5

Everything else ran the same as my last test.

I am still not seeing script errors being generated for the Color test. Or perhaps I misunderstood?

While keep lots of game saves as well as back ups of the game folder and I rotate games I'm afraid I do not have any really old games still in play. Hope this does not hinder things too much.

Color results on the page for those.

I'll load another new game shortly. Let me know if you need me to check something else.

For the color test what you're doing is looking at those Sims hair and what the mod is determining and seeing if they match up in your opinion. The performance tests look good though. :)
