Mod Updates In Testing

Post by brappl » December 19th, 2016, 10:29 am

Chain_Reaction has been hard at work again updating mods and has some new mod updates in Testing. For those of you who do not receive notices of updates see:
Update History Testing.

Special Note: If you are a frequent user of the Mod Updater please note that it will be a few days before Chain pushes these testing mods in the application so you will need to install them manually.

@Chain - These look awesome! I have them installed. Thank you so much for everything you have done in here over the past couple of years. Don't know what we would have done without your ongoing dedication keeping the mods updated, the new mods you created and providing all those great enhancements to existing mods that made playing even more fun for all of us.

@littlelambsy - Rumor has it you and your crazy Sims misbehaving in your castes are responsible for identifying a needed update in Story Progression. Good job!!!

For those who aren't monitoring the Update History page on how to set it up. This method can be used to monitor any page on the wiki. :-)

@brappl: Thanks for bringing these updates to everyone's attention! :D And thanks for all you do around here too! :D Hasn't it been almost three years since Twallan retired though? Or am I remembering the year incorrectly?

@Chain: Just wanted to add my thanks to you as well for everything you've done. I've often wondered, like brappl, what would've become of this wiki if you hadn't stepped up. :-) We'd all be lost without you. :D

I'm so exited about the paparazzi limit fix!

@Sarah - I got a little busy with RL yesterday. Sorry for not responding sooner. If I remember correctly Twallan announced his retirement January 4th or 5th 2014 so we will be going into our 3rd year January 2017.

LOL ... correction on the correction and my apologies Sarah. One of my esteemed colleagues in here suggested I might want to redo the math. And because I did not have enough fingers and toes to calculate correctly I led you all astray. It has been 3 years. Well what do you expect from someone who can't figure out Relativity tuning.

Oh no, Cupcake isn't falling for that one. He ended up on his way to the gallows last time, with the reprieve from the Magistrate arriving just in time if I remember correctly.

I can't believe it's been three years either. It's an honor to be part of this community and yes, our ability to keep things together not to mention our games would be very different if not for our fearless developer.

My sims have been vindicated and are all smiles. I second that thanks to Chain for all his hard work. If it wasn't for the mods I would have quit playing years ago. I just updated to the new versions
Thanks for posting this brappl :)

@brappl: LOL! No worries. I knew it was January 5th (because that's a significant date for me and why I remember it). Thought it was 2014 but you know what my memory's like so... ;-)

@igazor: Three years certainly goes by fast when you're having fun playing Sims 3 lol! :-)
