Public disgrace is driving me crazy, because it keeps affecting my Sim's relationships with everyone, including their close friends. Because of this, my Sims keep losing friends, including friends that are currently deceased. It wouldn't be too bad if it didn't affect my Sim's relationships with deceased Sims. Because then I wouldn't have to go hunting around for those deceased Sims that my Sims have relationships with.

The cemetery is currently filled with hundreds of tombstones, and I haven't memorised exactly which Sims have relationships with my Sims. I know that there's a way to disable public disgrace, but not without enabling NRaas story progression. I refuse to enable it, because I don't want to run the risk of any residents or townies moving away from the neighbourhood. Because the game tends to delete them when that happens, making them impossible to recover.

I just noticed the part about SP my memory is a little fuzzy haven't used it in awhile but I believe by default Nraas SP disables Emigration you have to enable Emigration for emigration to happen.

But if you still don't feel comfortable Nraas SP Twoftmama also at Sims Asylum has a No Immigration and Emigration Mod that will stop emigration so you can enable EA's SP without worries.

I'm afraid that is true. I don't want to have to enable story progression. Not if I can help it. Surely there's got to be a way to disable public disgrace, and keep story progression disabled at the same time.

At Sims Asylum Shimrod in the Retired Creators section on the 4th page of his section look for No Celebrity Disgrace there are 3 flavors to the mod the one I use is No Disgrace for Everything it's a tuning mod you don't need Story Progression for it to work.
