I apologize if this has already been asked but how do I turn off notifications of townies progressions in game if I have Story Progression installed? I've not really used it because it keeps notifying me and I find it annoying.

On City Hall or an in-game computer, NRaas > SP > General Options > All Stories > (and select the subsets of sims, if any, for which you do want to receive Stories).

Note that any story reports already in the queue will need to run out before changes take hold, so that could take a sim day or two to become fully effective.
