Save file deleted itself

Yeah this can happen to all of us, sad that it just happend whenyour game crashed :) (but mostly not if using Saver, it adds the next number automatically at the end too. It is a good reminder to save as, but of course you can skip it too, you can also set the time much higher/lower, and I most lik...

Save file deleted itself

@C-Dark Thank you for your thorough reply. I've no issues with the things you mentioned though. I don't have a need for the remind function of Saver since once a sim day is more than enough for me. It's a choice. ;) More than that and it'd get annoying. I'm fine with replaying a sim day. Have just b...

Save file deleted itself

My latest game crashed earlier today while saving. No error 12 or anything like that, which I rarely if ever get anyway these days. Have no logs to show because nothing was generated. Since I save once every sim day I didn't care all that much until I restarted the game and the whole save was gone! ...

Part-Time Jobs

Hi, just a quick question, Has anyone ever figured out how to have a sim have a full and part-time job at the same time? Full time during the day and part-time at night. Closest solution I've found is Buzzler's Moar Interactions as that adds the ability to work overtime in 3 hour shifts at their re...

Outerwear and the Stylist Career...

Depends on where/how you play a stylist, I suppose. I play mostly want based too, but this was in Twinbrook and Drea's Salon & Tattoo seem to be very popular with sims; it's always quite busy. I figured Amy Bull's wants to progress in the career along with simmies showing up to the salon in the firs...

The Sims 3 Smooth Patch

I downloaded it a few days ago but haven't tried it until now. There is a slight difference in my game, but not much. I was mainly hoping for improvements in CAS as the game in general is smooth enough as it is for me. I do notice faster zooming when going around the world peeping on inactive sims a...

Outerwear and the Stylist Career...

I usually avoid playing stylists so my experience with this is fairly limited, but last time I did was quite recently and I didn't notice any failures due to adding outerwear (or anything else extra, for that matter.) Kept an eye out for it myself, as one of the main reasons I did give in this time ...

Add deceased Sim as family?

You can add ghosts as relatives with MC. Advanced/Family. Done that many times myself. Don't have to be playable. Although, not sure it would be a very good idea to add a deceased sim from a corrupted family, especially not in the same save. If it was my game, I'd probably remake the dead dude in CA...

Bringing plants when moving?

If there is a way to do that I'd like to know too, but I don't think there is, unfortunately. However, if you harvest right before moving and replant after, your sim can pretty much continue where they left off anyway. Or simply go back to the old lot with your sim every day and treat it like it's s...

Divorce Happens Too Much!

Perhaps fiddle around a bit with the SP settings might work too? The romance options for example. There's the 'Maximum relationship to force breakup' setting which in my current save is set to -90 (don't think I've touched it) so perhaps it can be set to -95 or even closer to -100. There's also the ...
