Time machine: probability of an event

No one knows everything this mod can do. Did you know you can tune the size of your sims nostrils with this mod? I'm kidding.

Time machine: probability of an event

Post by Sara_Darkees » November 11th, 2018, 1:25 am

Suddenly I found that one important mod is not working properly. And I decided to fight my problem radically. I would like to use Returner to edit the probability of events that are related to the time machine. I may be able to use it for other purposes in the future. Reshaping the game on your own - it's so wonderful. I'm having trouble finding it. It should be somewhere in the Tunable XML section, but I have no idea where to look next.

Time machine: probability of an event

The best way to find something in Retuner is to use the Full EA Tuning File first. This FAQ should help.

Retuner-FAQ#Example-of-how-to-use-the-F ... uning-File

The Full EA Tuning File download can be found at the bottom of Retuner's FAQ page. This should be a direct link - FullEATuning_P163.zip - if I've copied it correctly. :-)

Time machine: probability of an event

Oh... What's the trap?.. Sorry, but do you happen to know if I can use the mod version 1.55 if I have the game version 1.57? Just in case, I have reasons not to update the game. Something will break completely then. It would seem that I just need to find a way to a certain line and change its. I'm sick and tired of that unwanted children in the Sims 3 are coming from everywhere: the "gifts" of aliens, a time machine... Where else can these little bastards wait for my sims? :D

According to our own documentation, the current 1.67/69 version of Retuner, not the 1.55 version, should be used for Patch 1.57. But I would have to say such usage is totally unsupportable here due to the vast number of changes that 1.63 in particular made to the game and the ITUN file, so it really becomes a "use it experimentally at your own risk" kind of thing.

It was about tuning file but I asked about the mod. I need to be more careful. Before moving the site, I managed to download the necessary mods specifically for my version of the game (including Returner). Once I tried to install a version of the mod that does not match the version of the game. And I know what's going on then - nothing interesting, nothing good. Until I had the opportunity to write here, I had to find solutions to some problems on my own. Now some annoying little thing doesn't annoy me. But there's always something new, isn't there? By the way, the best search method, who advised Sarah_Sims, will have to wait. The inscription under links reads as follows:: "The requested page could not be found".

Yes, sorry, I didn't realise that link wasn't working. I've uploaded the file to my MEGA drive for now, if you still require it. :-)

Time machine: probability of an event

Thank you very much, but I have already found an alternative way to find the necessary object. It was easier than I thought. Click on home>>MС>> list of objects>>local, not in baggage (something like that). The path was specified in the name of the required object. And all, in this all happiness. I was about as happy when I was able to stop Sims from giving bouquets to each other. It's a pretty sweet gesture, but when Sims, instead of communicating, only do that give each other flowers, they look like idiots. But this is unnecessary information.
