Homeworld Uni Annoyance

No one knows everything this mod can do. Did you know you can tune the size of your sims nostrils with this mod? I'm kidding.

Homeworld Uni Annoyance

Post by Simmania » January 7th, 2017, 7:07 pm

Happy new year Nraas!
4 months ago, I discovered that the group science project object on my homeworld campus was dragging inactive sims from all over the place on the lot. My bars were empty but the campus was full 24h.

I'm currently playing a new world and it is happening again.
Looking at a sim's situation via MC shows this: ScienceActivationGatheringSituation. I deleted the culprit and my bars are full again, but I'd like to know the mystery behind it. Any insight would be great and thanks.

I would have looked at the advertising that item provided by way of Retuner with its Object Menus on. I suspect it's over the top high on Fun if not some of the others and yes, it will draw sims like a magnet.

Erm, I mean like a magnet if sims were actually made of metal. I need a better metaphor. :)

I added the group science object to one of my home lots some time ago to work on one of the challenges (badges) and I ended up having to add a fence and locked gate to the property because Sims from all over were swarming the residential lot.
That thing attracts non-actives as well as Inge's ticket machine. I haven't used it in a home world since.

@Igazor: I couldn't find anything about watching the ScienceActivationGatheringSituation on Retuner. I've even checked the GameplayData and still nothing.
@LeeAlee: Thanks for confirming the issue. I have deleted it, but it's a pity because it's actually a cool object.
