I have a problem with my role sims getting other jobs. Cashiers, proffesional mixologists, etc. They always seem to get jobs like magician or acrobat, showtime careers.
Why does this happen, and how can I make sure it stops happening?
They still keep their roles, they won't stop working in the stores and bars, but I find it quite annoying.
Not to mention that their work outfits are most often very out of place. And I know I can change their outfits, but since I don't think they should be getting those jobs in the first place, I kinda think it's unneccessery work to change the outfit of all my role sims.
(Maybe this isn't a Register issue, but It's the only thing I can think of that is causing this. From what I remember, it didn't happen before I started using this mod)
My role sims get jobs!

Yeah, that kind of thing is really annoying. The problem, as I understand it, is that the assignment of the SHT in the park type performers is coming from the game itself, not Register nor SP. At the moment such assignments happen if Role Sims are off-duty, the game sees them as unemployed or I think retired and therefore eligible for such bogus assignments.
The best I've been able to do is disallow the SHT careers and their associated skills townwide using SP. Of course, this assumes one is an NRaas SP user to begin with. I still get a small number of SHT performers assigned anyway in each world where I don't want them at all (sighs) but for some reason it pretty much leaves my occupied Role Sims alone, more or less.
On City Hall or an in-game computer,
NRaas > SP > Town Options > Career:Disallow > (the three SHT careers)
NRaas > SP > Town Options > Skill:Disallow > (the three SHT career skills) (SP Skill add-on module required)
If you really want such assignments going to others then you don't have to use Town Options, but maybe Caste or some other subset of sims.
But maybe other players here have found a more reliable way to protect such Role Sims from the double assignments.

Ah pity. I don't use SP, it was too overwhelming for both my brain and my game.
But it's weird, because I can't remember that role sims was forced into those careeres before. Those careers was forced on actually unemployed sims, not cashiers etc. They was always left to that role.
I have tried to change their jobs to the mod "unemployed" too, but they still get returned to the showtime career.
Anyways, thanks a lot for replying!!
I might have to give SP another shot, if there isn't another solution.
