Script Errors
Script Errors
I updated many of the Nraas mods that needed to be updated and decided to keep one that is unsupported but has not given me any trouble. The thing is I get get recurring script errors about the Seasons objects like the stands and etc. What does it mean and how do I solve it?

Hi again. We can see the upload and which user it's tied to, thanks. You've neglected to update Overwatch though and are still eight versions behind.
I would try that first. Then, as a test, I would suggest removing all of your non-NRaas mods, clear your game folder's 4-5 cache files, and try again. Something is still getting in the way of the Role Manager, now controlled better by Register, from assigning Role Sims to just about every object you have in town and I suspect an out of date mod from another party. But now that we have a more complete series of errors to examine, perhaps someone else here will see another reason why this might be happening.

So I removed all of the mods like you suggested and started a new game. Plus I updated Overwatch. I chose a random family to play as in Sunset Valley. Service sims were assigned as they should. And the game played smoothly.
So I guess I'll remove the unsupported mod to be sure. And put the rest of my mods back. Unless it's another issue.

Ah good, progress. (phew)
Okay, I wasn't really suspecting the Hospital mod for this particular issue (though anything is possible). If the problem returns with all of your other mods back in, the best way to proceed is the 50/50 method. Remove half of your non-NRaas mods, clear caches, and see what happens. Then proceed backwards or forwards by remaining halves until you isolate the culprit(s). Takes much less time than trying them out one or two at a time.

Oh, and if the problem mod(s) don't reveal themselves, we have to turn our suspicions to the world you were playing originally. Startlight Shores does kick up some unusual issues in the very beginning now that I think of it, but I thought they were more related to routing than Role Sim assignment and easier than this to get past.

So I went through 90% of my mods and they are updated. I use CC Magic, so it can tell me what kind of CC i have.
I searched through all of the mods that might have to do with affecting roles (which I still don't really know what that means other than service roles) and updated them. Will run a test gave with my original file and report. And will test using a new world just in case.

"...which I still don't really know what that means other than service roles"
Service Sims are drawn from the service pool. These are sims who come to your house to perform their services like maids, babysitters, mail and pizza delivery, the repo sim, the child care social worker, stray animals, plus some special cases like Grimmy (the one who really reaps, not the impostor behind the Door of Life and Death or whatever that thing is called) and the Time Traveler. Service Sims must always be homeless NPCs.
Role Sims are sims who are tied to an object in town and work really long assigned shifts, like cash register attendants, bartenders, tattoo artists, club rope bouncers. Role Sims are NPCs who can be homeless or they can be residents. A common example of a mod that affects the Role Manager in a negative way when it's not updated with current patch levels would be one that increases the range of items for sale by the register attendant at the Elixir Consignment Shop.
It's the second kind, Role Sims unable to be assigned, that was causing distress here. Does that help explain a bit better?
