Fighting...

Post by jjonewell » February 15th, 2016, 1:24 am

In my game, fighting tanks both energy and hygiene completely. I can't seem to find any reference to this phenomena anywhere. Is it normal, and if so, is it modifiable. I think the complete crash of the energy motive is a touch much, and would like to change it (with Retuner, maybe). Thanks in advance for your time.

I think that's normal. My sims lose all energy and hygiene every time they fight. I almost never have them fight as a result.

Dunno if Retuner can modify that. I've never looked into it.

I know werewolves can fight as a friendly interaction. IIRC that doesn't deplete energy and hygiene like normal fighting does.

It is normal and I've never found anything that could change it the only XML's I've found are all for pets but nothing that I could see about motive lose. Although my sim doesn't seem to lose much in the way of energy or hygiene since he's completed the Body Builder, Marathon Runner and Fitness Nut challenges it could be more related to skill level and such

I've looked and looked and I still haven't found anything or I don't know what to look for. The only thing I can think of is having a high athletic skill and completing the challenges to offset that but maybe that's my imagination I don't let my sims fight to often since an active can die from it while inactives are safe

My sims always drop their motives. Both fight the thieves because the cops are so bad in my game.

I also let them fight in bars, when someone accuses them of being a witch! However, as a witch, they can cast spells on themselves afterwards and get their hygiene and energy back. The fools who started it pass out stinking like rotten fruit!

(Lol @MoMoll) Okay, thank you all. At least I know it's normal. Just another example of EA's "brilliance".

It's actually SP Extra doing this and there's no way to disable the function at this time.
