*pulling out hair*

Post by LeahxRIx » February 13th, 2016, 8:03 pm

Earlier I enter my world and my Sims pictures (cell phone, camera, fair) are showing. Later I boot up again and they have empty pictures. What am I doing wrong now? Does the traveldb.package hold the photos? Becuz I deleted that.

Thanks

Where the photos taken when they we're in a WA/Vacation world if so that might be why.
But I'm not totally sure on it I've never had my sims take photos

Taking photos in WA/Vacation worlds works. My sims take vacation pictures all the time.
@LeahxRix... it is my understanding that the traveldb.package holds pictures. Perhaps someone in here can confirm that?
Did you use Kuree's Clean Saver by any chance? People have reported loosing photos etc after using that tool.

I believe so. That's why we have to take the photos out of our sims' cameras and photo frames, and take certain kinds of paintings (those of other sims, not the generic ones they paint on their own) off the walls and put them all into personal inventory before Save Cleaning to reduce its size. But deleting the entire TravelDB.package is kind of extreme, unless you were having total travel breakage that couldn't be fixed any other way.

I know taking photos in WA/Vacation worlds work I meant if the photos were taken in those worlds they could be tied to the traveldb.package and deleting that might make them come up missing

Namaradus - they were right at home.

brappl - That's how I lost my pics first time around and why I'm pulling my hair out now lol I really love my dumb family pics. Kind of upset that their pics of their deceased pets are gone. :(

igazor - oh, I see. Not sure why I deleted it, but I won't again and I can go into my recycle bin to fish out the one I deleted so I'll get some pics back again, hopefully.

Thanks people :)

Hope you got everything back LeahxRix. You've probably seen this page but just in case see The Options On This Page.

I did, thank you :) And now I know images on cameras are stored in another file. I was surprised to see the newer pics that were taken still on their cameras. Surprised and thrilled :D

Thanks!
