Agnes Koffi is a prolific writer in my save, but her family are getting by on the skin of their teeth (I've upped the weekly taxes, plus the whole family has come down with llama pox a few times, and so medical bills have taken a chunk of their savings). She as due to get almost 10k in royalties on Sunday, but noon came and went and no money. It is now 10pm on Sunday. She's received her books in the mail, but has not been paid for them. I'm not sure what's happened, of if I can trigger her royalty payment in some way. Could anyone shed any light please?

I ended up going to an earlier save and was able to get the royalties. I think something happened in the first save because in that one I had done a reset everything, and I noticed I had lost an opportunity. No matter. Consider it resolved.

I did, however, stumble upon something that looks like an old bug - Agnes is also in the middle of a mid life crisis, with the promised wish to flirt with someone other than Gobias (her spouse). Try as I might, no amount of accepted flirts would work, as I have the Woohooer mod installed, and didn't want to take it out for the purpose of this one wish. Agnes went to therapy instead. I know in the future to not promise that particular wish during the midlife crisis.

I would never send one of my sims to therapy for fear of the diagnosis being something like, "You are being controlled by a lunatic!" and the sim being thrown out of the office. But, maybe that's just me.

It was a last ditch effort since I discovered I couldn't fulfill the midlife crisis wish I had promised her. And I mean, it's Agnes Crumplebottom, who fell immediately in love with Gobias Koffi, whilst still carrying around the gravestone of her first husband. I think if there is a candidate for therapy, it's her.
