Dresser errors

Post by fluttereyes » October 16th, 2019, 7:01 am

I'm doing well with dresser but my game just crashed, when I looked in my Sims 3 folder there is 11 Script errors and they are all about invalid parts, like this:

Log CAS Parts

Body Type: FullBody
Instance: 0xF44CEFC41BFD9219
Group: 0x00000000
Ages: YoungAdult, Adult
Genders: Female
Species: Human
Categories: Sleepwear,Career,
Extended: ValidForMaternity,ValidForRandom,
BotPart: False

<InvalidParts>
<Instance>0xF44CEFC41BFD9219</Instance>
<Group>0x00000000</Group>
<Age>YoungAdult</Age>
<Gender>Female</Gender>
<Species>Human</Species>
<Categories>Career</Categories>
<WorldTypes>Base</WorldTypes>
</InvalidParts>

Am I doing something wrong? They are all different items but I blacklisted over 500 items so why just these 11?

Plus, it's a pain in CAS when blacklisting because for some reason I've started getting the notifications as pop outs after every one, wasn't happening before.

Dresser errors

The script errors are normal, they generate when you right click parts in CAS for purpose of creating invalidpart files. The game only keeps so many and deletes the rest as more logs are generated. The crash logs don't tell anything that can be of use I'm afraid. The game gets unstable at times, it is an EA product after all. I doubt you did anything to make it crash. If it becomes a constant pattern then maybe.

Thank you, I just wondered why there weren't over 500, if that was the case. I'll just get on with it and hopefully it won't happen again. Tell me about it with EA, I've played Sims since Sims 1 and 3 has to be the worst for crashes so far, I do like it though.
