Hello,

Each time I move sims to new homes in Edit Town, the affected sims' careers change to a different job and level.

This is a very recent issue that only started after I adjusted some Story Progression settings, but I've had no success retracing my steps to suss out the culprit.

Any help is appreciated!

Can't say I have ever observed this. For clarification though, I take it we are talking about inactive residents being moved around this way and not the actively played household?

Do you get better results if you use MC's Add Sim command to shift these households around instead of Edit Town -- there will be some economic data lost this way, the sims won't get to sell their houses and purchase new ones, they will just be forced as is into their new homes, but how important that is will depend on the player and the circumstances.
