Is the unisex accessories setting broken, or am I doing something wrong?

So I recently made a male Sim who I wanted to sometimes wear female CAS items via MasterController's unisex clothes settings. Hair and clothes work fine (with some very slight stretching, but that's not a big deal and I already knew it would happen) but whenever I use female accessories on him, they switch to a random male accessory from the same category once I press the checkmark to leave CAS. Is this a known issue, or do I just not have the right mods? I don't have Dresser, if that's worth pointing out.

Subject to confirmation from our developer, I believe this is a known issue with accessories and is slated to be looked at when mod development resumes.

Yes I believe there are a few issues with MC CAS but they are difficult to figure out. It is noted for review.
