Ok, Generations said that I had to update, so i ran the super patch again. Now Generations tell me that the installed Sims 3 version is newer than this product version and that I must update. :xWhat do I do now???

I already said to ignore those warnings that Outdoor Living, Generations and Town Life give just continue to install your EP's and SP's and re-run the Superpatcher after everything is installed.

*phew* You were right. I got scared there because I thougt that I HAD to update. I didn't see that I could ignore it, but I did whwn I calmed down. I have 1000 things going on in my head at the moment.

I usually have to reinstall the game once a month cause I like to push the game beyond it's limits and break things

No wonder that you remember all the steps that well. I have installed the game exactly twice before. First in 2009 and then in 2012.

I have finished now, replaced the .sgr files and put my saves, CC, downloaded stuff and all that in place. It's time to load the game for a little test and change the settings.

WOW! What a difference the new PC made! Loading my big world used to take 12-13 minutes, but now it takes only 5. Also everything in CAS loads much faster! I had a good SSD before, but the CPU was probably a bottleneck
