SP - Pregnancy

Post by schmidta » September 3rd, 2019, 10:16 pm

Hi, all. I've hads to reinstall and had never used so many NRaas mods before, I used to use only SP (with almost all modules).

Now I am using Whoohooer (for male-male pregnancies to work), MC, Overwatch, Debugger, and of course SP (with almost all modules - and yes, I do have extra and relationship). I am missing a few pregnancy options - mainly, genetic blending, chance of identical twins and rename baby after birth. Have these been discontinued or does it have something to do with the other mods?

Also, none of my sims are getting pregnant without my intervention! Risky woohoo is set to 10%, try for baby 90%, chance of attempt is 65 and increased chance of attemp is 75 and unexpected is set at 45.

Thanks for the help. =)

SP - Pregnancy

Hi there. The SP module these all have in common might be one you are missing. That would be SP Population, they are not part of Extra or Relationship.

For sims not getting pregnant, there could be a number of reasons. Might their households be full, as per SP's altered settings for the maximum a household can have? Could they all be too close to their next birthday to get pregnant or too close to the Near Elder limit as set in SP? Might the town be at or over its SP resident population cap?

For same gender though, in addition to Woohooer allowing Risky and Try for Baby, SP needs to have caste support by gender so that males can become pregnant by way of other males and can be pregnant in the first place or else SP won't cash the check that Woohooer is trying to write (or some such metaphor like that). If you click on a male sim and check their SP Sim Options, does all seem in order under the Pregnancy ones?

Now I feel foolish. I downloaded Population and there the options were. And I think the settings for liking on Woohooer were too high and that was why pregnancies weren't happening. Thank you for your help.
