Tuning mod, changed and default value

No one knows everything this mod can do. Did you know you can tune the size of your sims nostrils with this mod? I'm kidding.

Tuning mod, changed and default value

Post by yawoohoo12 » September 8th, 2019, 1:57 am

Hello there!
What happens if I change some of the resource values from retuner, and then install mods that alter the same values? Will the mods still override the resources? or retuner resource values are loaded instead? (I'm sorry if I called it wrong)

And how to reset value to default but for specific resource, not the entire resources?

Tuning mod, changed and default value

Tuning mods load during the game's startup sequence. Retuner loads its settings when and after the game clock starts moving forward, so that's much later. Thus if both a tuning mod and Retuner hit the same resource, the setting in Retuner will "win out" because it is last to be applied.

I don't know that there is a way to revert Retuner to default values selectively. But what you can do is export all of your Retuner settings to a file, compare what you have done to the game master tuning file as that indicates the defaults, and revert each setting manually one by one. How painful that would be to work through I guess would depend on how many Retuner changes you have in need of reverting.
