SP, Sims 2 Aging Style and Boarding Schools

Post by 95mmaa » September 6th, 2019, 6:49 pm

Hello!

Quick question about playing a Sims 2 Aging style system with boarding schools: Does this affect the child in the boarding school if Inactives are not supposed to age? I'm worried the child I have at a boarding school isn't aging while the rest of his family back home is and if that may prevent them from returning home. I don't really remember how long it's been since they first started.

Thanks in advance!

Can you not check their age with MC before midnight and then again after midnight to verify that they have incremented by one sim day? Of course you can't click on a sim who isn't there, but perhaps on the household menu or through City Hall. As far as I know, the sim is still part of the actively played household even though while away you cannot control them.
