No laptops, please.

Kukko69, as I said earlier, it's very ironic to condemn this on my part, because I'm actually tied to a computer, and outside the house I'm almost always with a smartphone in my hand. Well, at least when I have to wait for something and I get bored. After all, there is nothing wrong with being able to correspond very quickly with those who are far away from me. I don't have to write a letter, go to the post office, send it and wait for a response for weeks or even months. In addition, a couple of streets from my house there are no wonderful sea coasts with cozy cafes, for example. In my case much more reason to question the beauty of the real world. However, laptops in the thirties are still an inadmissible and impossible luxury item.

Neither do I have sea coasts or cozy cafes in my backyard (wish I had), but nevertheless, is it healthy or constructive to stare at your phone all the time? In no way am I saying phones should be forbidden in general, obviously I have one (for the most important functionality, which is phone calls, text messages and maybe music player). But when you see 90% of people passing by looking at their hand, one does wonder where this road will lead the humanity to... Alright, got a bit profound there, but obviously there are pros and cons to almost everything.

Did I understand correctly, that you can disallow laptop use but it affects basic computers also? I need a mod or some setting to reduce my sims from going to the computer (PC or laptop) and play games all the freaking time, even in situations where it is mostly inappropriate (family wedding, visiting a friend for a cup of coffee... not to say, I've never escaped social circumstances to hide in my room and surf on the internet to avoid conversations =P).

the phone is used as a sim identifier. If one ever goes missing or gets deleted, a new one should be spawned to take its place or the sim without a cellphone will be broken.
LOL A Sim isn't a Sim without a smart phone? It's like an ironic or disturbing statement of 21st Century society.:|

I hate the darn things! But now, because of my job, I can't be without mine either. Blessed were the days when, if I wasn't home, that was that and you didn't get to talk to me.... and everyone lived just fine and the world kept spinning.
