Disable random clothing change for sims with insane trait

No one knows everything this mod can do. Did you know you can tune the size of your sims nostrils with this mod? I'm kidding.

The only close thing I could find in the game's master tuning file is this:
Sims3.Gameplay.Actors.Sim > kChanceInsaneSimIgnoreOuterwearRules > (default is 80)

That doesn't sound very comprehensive though. Could be missing something, but if such a setting is not reachable by mere tuning then a different kind of mod would be required. It perhaps might be easier to change the sims' traits?

I'm afraid the above tuning is only for outerwear. The standard behavior of the trait is hard coded into the core and cannot be changed.

Thanks for your help! One more thing, I know that it's not recommended for having traits exceeding the limit. But, what if it's hidden trait?
For example, I have change the settings of trait limit for young adults to 12 traits ( NRaas>Settings>General>by XML>Sims3.gameplay.ActorSystems>Trait Manager.). My sim have 12 showed (choosable from CAS) traits, and 3 hidden trait. If I go to Uni or traveling to other worlds, will all of the traits retained? or removed?

The issues where sims drop their extra traits when traveling or aging up are for when they have more than Trait Manager is alotting for. I think you're okay there, but you might want to make a note of each of your traveling sim's traits before they leave the homeworld in case you do have to restore any of them using MC. Hidden traits never count towards the allotted amount.

Having said that, I play sims with over the limits on traits all the time. I would never increase the number of slots to 12 because I wouldn't want all of the inactive sims in each world to pick up that many traits on their own. That's more personal preference than anything else, though.

Will remaining traits for premade sims (resident) being generated too after set limit to 12 traits and before aging up? And is it possible to blacklist some traits from being generated? Actually, I think it's nice for inactive sims also having the additional traits, since it will add more depth and characteristics for each sims. But I don't want residents that are YA, A, E, to magically having their traits being added, though. Thanks for your suggestion!

I believe that's a yes, unless you have SP specifically set to not do that.

NRaas > SP > General Options > Options: Sims > Options: Traits > Add Missing Traits > (T/F, default is T).
Similar setting under Town/Household./Caste/Sim Options to be more granular about it.

What about blacklisting traits? Is it possible?

NRaas > SP > (Town/Household/Caste/Sim) Options > Sim: Disallow Trait
(SP Extra add-on module required)
