So while adding one sim to another's family I made a slip and accidentally also added another sim to said family however, when I tried to remove the sim I added by mistake nothing happens, no matter what sim in the family I try to remove them from. I just keep getting this "script error" notification. What should I do or is this something the developer has to look into?

Hi there. This is not a known issue that we are aware of.

It might help if we could read the script log resulting from that error, otherwise we are just guessing as to what's holding things up. The script logs accumulate in the TS3 user game folder in Documents, if you could please drag the relevant one into a reply on this message thread. Or, if there are many there and you aren't sure which is the right one by way of their creation dates, you could zip the most recent few together, upload them to a third party file host, and supply a link so we can get to them.

There is certainly something wrong with that sim's genealogy, but I can't quite understand how that happened. Our developer will need to examine the log and tell us what he sees. In the meantime,

-- Does a MC Reset Sim help at all?
-- Do you have a way to revert to a prior save from before the sim was accidentally added to the family tree and replay things a different way?

I see. As of now I do not have a prior save for that specific world from before the change and reseting doesn't seem to be of any help either. Could the error come from the fact that the sim i've been trying to remove is an imaginary friend brought to life? I don't know. There's some stuff that has happened post family error that I do not want to lose.

Possibly yes, the IFs and their conversions are known to be problematic. Since MC Resetting hasn't helped, I think we'll have to wait for our developer to catch up with this thread and see what he has to say.

Does installing Overwatch fix that error?

I'm having the same issue, with every single sim in my household. The only difference in my case is that I don't get a script error. I can add siblings/parents just fine, but when I click on either of the remove options, the menu just closes like I clicked the exit button or something. I don't have anything more to provide since, as I said, I don't get a script error. It's just weird
