Nona's Super Hamper
Nona's Super Hamper
Hi, I d/led the super hamper from NonaMena and I have the file in Mods/Packages as well as the script file. As instructed, I deleted the script cache before loading the game. However, it is not working. I tried w/only one hamper on the lot, but the sims drop their clothes where they are and the clothes do not go into the hamper. None of them has the slob trait either. Is there anything more that I should do? Does the script file go into the packages folder? I d/l all three versions of her mod to fit whatever hamper I would like to use. Currently, I am using the Ambitions one which is wicker.

The description says that a script collects the clothes each hour, not that they go into the hamper. Do the clothes disappear after a while or do they stay on the ground?

No, they don't. They just land on the floor next to the sim wherever they are.

Nona's mod does not affect the hampers you already had available to you in Build/Buy. It offers up her altered versions of them, and they will have the "CC" symbol (I think) on them in the catalog so you can tell which are which. Have you placed one (there really only needs to be one per lot) of her hampers on the lot or are you still using the original kind? Note that in order for clothes to immediately go into a hamper of any kind that is not full, the sims and the hamper need to be in the same room. Superhampers remove that restriction, but again the effect is not immediate.

Hi Igazor! I am using her hamper. The one called "The Electromagnetic Super Hamper." I did remove all of the originals. It is the Ambitions one. Yes, it does have the cc icon on it. I do have one question though. Before d/ling her hamper mod, I had the volume of the hamper set to far more than the original 10 that EA programmed it for. Would that make any difference? The reason I'm asking here is that there is no more support for this on that site.

Not sure, but it might depend on how much higher you have set it and how you have done so. Too large a value there, if you are in the right place, might be ignored or cause a malfunction (hampers always deemed as full). Nona offers a standalone mod to increase hamper capacity on the same page as the hamper mod, have you tried any of hers instead?

No I didn't d/l her increased hamper capacity b/c I have my hampers set via Retuner to hold 300. I could reduce that and see what happens.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. No, the clothes do not go anywhere. I have to manually put them into the hamper. I waited several sim hours and the clothes just stayed where they dropped. One more note, I am running on patch 1.67

Where did you put the script file? I saw you asked if it needs to be in the package file and I am pretty sure if I remember correctly it does, mostly because I remember not having any of Nona’s in overrides but in a Nona folder in packages, right below my NRass folder. Also some mods need a save as, exit completely out of the game and reload back in to kick in.
