script error and game crash

Post by marinis » July 17th, 2019, 6:51 pm

My game was crashing after a couple of hours of gameplay and there was always a script error, but I thought it was normal sims 3 behavior. Now after exactly 1 sim-hour it crashes and there's always a new script error at the same time. Could someone help me please?

I am not familiar with that particular error. It looks to me like you either have some sort of debugging utility running on NRaas Careers or you have some custom careers, afterschool programs, and/or apprenticeships that are acting up. Or both.

While perhaps not related to the script error provided, I do see the following things.

1 - Your version of NRaas Traveler is way out of date. The current one is v87, you have v82 which was never intended to be used on your patch level.

2 - At least two of the mods you have by CherryTS3 are out of date and should not be used on current patch levels. The Toddler Interactions one was updated by Claudiasharon and the Zodiac one by SimsMX (which you also have, but they will conflict with each other).

3 - Not sure about Kuree's Uni mod, I don't think I've ever seen that one in play before.

4 - SimsMX's Hospital Overhaul mod is outdated and should not be run on current patch levels. There is no update, the developer dropped out after Patch 1.55 and never returned to update this one (we keep hoping he will, someday).

We can't tell if your other non-NRaas mods are all up to date versions, but perhaps they should be checked for freshness against that which is currently available from their sources? We also might be able to get more information about what is happening/going wrong as errors occur if you had ErrorTrap in play and it was thus able to "trap" and report on them, and perhaps prevent the game from crashing in the process.

The custom "modelling" career you have is conflicting with another. I believe that's missys and she updated it if I'm not mistaken. While it should be fixed, that's not related to your crash. As igazor said, you have a lot of mods that should be reviewed for updated versions and conflicts.

Thank you and sorry for disturbing you. I haven't played sims 3 in so long but it has been installed on my notebook for years now, I don't remember how everything works. I'll check my mods folder.
