Confusion about the other mods.

Other mods as in the StoryProgression Lovers, extras , career etc. The descriptions don't really say much about what they exactly do.
I'm not sure if I haven't looked around enough to see what they do but if anyone could help me out that'd be great.

Confusion about the other mods.

Hi there.

StoryProgression has a base mod, as from the sound of it you have already seen/experienced.

It also has six "regular" add-on modules that extend its reach and add more controls relevant to the area of progression being addressed. Those modules are SP Career, Extra, Money, Population, Relationship, and Skill. To see what these modules do more precisely, take a look at the overall Interactions page for SP and scroll through looking for where these modules are listed or do a ctrl+F type of page search for the module name.

In addition, it has six Personality Modules that establish "clans" of sims each with a clan leader, members, and other associated roles who are pushed to do various things together or with/against the rest of the town. We might say that the SP Personalities each add measured amounts of chaos to what might otherwise be orderly forms of progression. I believe most players only have a small number of these in play and do not necessarily activate all of the Personalities per module as things can get out of hand if too much of this activity is going on all at once (depends on the size of the world and player preferences). Some players love SP but do not use any of these. Note that the SP Personalities are only for inactive resident sims, the actively being played ones can never be clan leaders or members. If you switch active households and end up playing a leader or member, they will drop those designations very quickly and, if needed, a new leader or other role member will be assigned.

The six Personality Modules are Cops and Robbers, Fairies and Werewolves, Lovers, Meanies, Others, Vampires and Slayers.

Unfortunately the current SP download page blends the "regular" and the Personality modules together, listing them alphabetically. It has been requested to our webmaster that these be separated out as they once were to help avoid confusion between them as the two module types do very different things from each other.
