I have just started playing a new world - Bleake Islands - from MTS.
I wanted my sim to become a motor mechanic.
I have the MotorMechanicCareer package, the NRAAS Career package and the NRAAS Story Progression Career package.
I have played it before in a different world, and had no trouble, but this time I am unable to get him to start in the career. The option isn't there when I click on the science lab, or when I use MC>Sim>Intermediate>Career>Choose job.
Does anyone have any idea what I may be missing?
thanks

Do you now have Ambitions in play? It's the only requirement you haven't mentioned that I see on the career's download page.
But this is really a better question for Missy_Hissy either here or on her own site, as the custom career is one of hers.

Yes, I do have Ambitions in play. Is Missy Hissy likely to look at this thread, or should I start one on her site?
thanks

Hi Sheridan. I answered this on my site but I'll say the same here too in case anyone else has similar issues.
Firstly, double check you've got the most up to date version of Nraas Careers. Secondly, try reloading the save game. Sometimes the custom careers don't show the first time you go in - you have to reload. This is more common when you've just placed the rabbithole but it does sometimes happen in a new game. So give both of those a try and let me know how you get on

thanks for your quick answer. Yes, reloading the town worked thanks.
thanks for all your hard work as well. It is nice to be able to have a bit of a change in the game.
and thanks to the guys at nraas. I couldn't play sims without your mods and your help.
