That's strange, but I don't get it all the time. Still, it does occur more often than I'd like.

From my observations, Sim toddlers, just like real life toddlers, want to be where the older sims are, so if everyone is too far away for any length of time an adult or teen will go get them and sit them down closer to where whatever it is they are doing.

Sara_Darkees - real toddlers are underfoot more than pets! LOL. And the questions! OMG! I don't have kids, but I have babysat my nieces nephews and friends kids most of my adult life and often had them for weekends while the parents went away for vacation or work. They always want to be near you, so I suppose the dev's who programed Sims were familiar with toddlers. But yes, it bugs me sometimes too,, even IRL. Still, I really like many of the interactions adults can have with sim toddlers, it's all very cute. Like reading to them, attack of the claw...etc. I think there's noting sweeter than a baby or toddler's genuine laughter and the sim kids can make me smile too. :)

Here is a picture of my toddler on the ground floor, then in the tube elevator and finally after stepping out of the elevator on the second floor, she returns to toddler state. http://www.mediafire.com/view/qtlg6zry5 ... r.jpg/file

My path was a bit off. For Pets to use the tube elevator, after setting Retuner to show object menu true, select the pet then click on the elevator - Nraas - Retuner - general - go to floor - allow species - pets. For the toddler to use the elevator you would just have to set the age allowed to include Toddlers in Retuner by clicking on the tube elevator.

I don't think pets stretch, just toddlers.

How good that I saw it early in the morning, because at night I usually prefer to sleep :|
It's probably a matter of taste, but I wouldn't use it. Maybe it would be better if someone corrected the animation of this, I've seen some make new animations for kids and toddlers.

I don't use these much either unless I'm do a futuristic house. They do look weird. It would be nice if the person who did the no stretch mods would fix this as well. I guess my original point for making the comment about toddlers using these elevators was for the Non Played households. If set to autonomous, toddlers wouldn't sit at the top of the stairs blocking the way, they would just use the elevator :)

Hmm I know how that works. I should look for the animations for conversion... If I don't say anything about it being easy or not within the week, remind me?
