Script Error. Wass up?

Post by JohnL83 » May 20th, 2019, 6:39 pm

Hi, I'm getting a few script errors that keep occuring. The one that is concerning me most is the one for "Hilary Foreman-Barron" she can't seem to get to work and as far as I know the rabbithole itself is fine, or maybe it's not? She did just get pregnant, but I have others going to work fine who are pregnant. Anyway, if someone could look at these and let me know if there's something I need to do. IDK if all 3 of these are the same, but they all have her name in them.

I think the problem is that there are no maternity outfits for her to wear as a Level 1 in the Science career in particular, so her actions to spin into work clothes are failing and taking the subsequent go to work actions down with them.

Ahhh yes, Thank you! I forget about the work clothing thingy. I think I can find one she can wear, but I don't know that she will stay in them if she progresses in her job. Or maybe just give her the week off during her gestation. (I have pregnancy set for 7 sim days.)

(scratches head) I have a sim who is a Level 10 in Science and he has always worked through most of his pregnancies with no issues. Same with a high level athlete, although in both cases I have pity on them after a while and do give them at least the final day or two of a seven day pregnancy off so they can have a chance to at least try to relax at home and prepare for the new arrival(s) while waiting for labor to happen.

Not sure if the difference is that these sims are males and thus all of their "paternity" clothes are custom ones anyway or if it's the higher end levels in these careers that make the difference. Most recently my athlete looked just fine going to work with the baby bump showing, except wearing what looked like a very comfortable track suit rather than his more usual team uniform. I can imagine that his role during this time, during working hours, was more of a coach and advisor than an actual player but he still had to play in the regularly scheduled team games that career requires and that began to make me feel out of my comfort zone with the requirement.
